Tim Pawlenty is in the national spotlight with recent appearance on Fox News and MSNBC.
Since Minnesota has a gubernatorial election in 2010 this puts Pawlenty in an odd spot. Pawlenty is in too liberal of a state to coast to re-election for governor while he prepares to run for President.
While Pawlenty will want to keep his eye on Minnesota he'll have to slowly back off from a re-election bid if he wants to run for President in 2012.
In the next 2 years Pawlenty faces quite the tightrope walk.
So far he appears to be handling things well.

Is it too early?
No!
In the coming Republican primary, the candidates who start early will have an advantage.
This blog is devoted to covering Governor Tim Pawlenty's campaign activities and supporting him for President in 2012.
Blogging will be slow for the next few months as the 2012 GOP primary campaign is mostly hidden.
To fill in the lack of action I will author posts detailing Tim Pawlenty's position on the issues and his record as Governor of Minnesota.
